by Davi Bomtempo, environment and sustainability executive manager of the Brazilian National Confederation of Industry (CNI)

Economist, with a master's degree in Public Administration, Davi leads the agendas of water resources, biodiversity, environmental licensing, forests, solid waste, climate change, sustainable production and consumption and Sustainable Development Goals at CNI.

Leather and its synthetic substitutes: a comparison of animal based and vegan alternatives

by Dr. Michael Meyer, FILK Freiberg Institute (Germany) research manager

Biologist and process engineer, he worked in the collagen and gelatine industries and assumed the management of the leather and biopolymers department at the FILK Institute in 2001. The following year, he received his PhD degree. He is responsible for all research activities and scientific work at the FILK Freiberg Institute.
